Residential building Fellnerstrasse 8 Frankfurt / Main

The apartment building Fellnerstrasse 8 was a historic building in Frankfurt am Main , in the Westend . It is not preserved.

description

The building on Fellnerstrasse , a side street off Eschersheimer Landstrasse , was built in the 1890s according to plans by the Frankfurt architects Heinrich Theodor Schmidt and J. Funk . The four-storey house , which stylistically changes between neo-baroque and neo- rococo, was built in a closed development between two existing houses. The facade was made of red sandstone, the garden side plastered. The interior corresponded to an “elegant bourgeois decor” of its time.

Today there is a multi-storey residential complex with office and practice use.
