Wied tax-Xlendi rock tomb
The rock grave of Wied tax-Xlendi (also called Hermit's Cave ) lies between the Wied tax-Xlendi and the Wied tal-Ghancija , (two dry valleys - Maltese Wied from Arabic Wadi ) west of Il- Munxar , on the island of Gozo , which belongs to Malta .
The rock grave is about two meters below the edge of the turtle rock , a spur that divides the two Wieds. The round entrance leads to a slightly curved corridor about a meter long, which leads into a chamber with a diameter of about 1.5 meters. Niches were carved into the left side of the hallway and the left side of the chamber.
