Content and background
The magazine was published for the first time in 1995 with Diana Strassmann as founding editor-in-chief. The aim of the journal is to promote a feminist view of economics. Accordingly, work is often in the foreground, particularly on gender issues , such as the gender pay gap , different pension and retirement provision levels or the effects of different participation. Books from the field of feminist economics are regularly reviewed.
