Fengcheng (Dandong)

The city of Fengcheng (凤 城市; Pinyin : Fèngchéng Shì) is an independent city in the prefecture-level city of Dandong in northeast China's Liaoning Province . It has an area of 5,513 km² and has a population of 587,000 (2010).
The nearby mountain town in Fenghuang Shan ( Fenghuang Shan shancheng凤凰 山 山城) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (4-37) since 1996 .
