Chamois leather
As chamois leather is called lobes of absorbent leather , particularly to the cleaning of windows and polishing other smooth surfaces are used. Chamois or chamois are flesh split leather of wild, sheep and goat skins , which should be very soft and absorbent. Traditional chamois tanning takes about a year.
Chamois leather is also used for car windows. More recently, attempts have been made to produce cloths with similar properties from plastic .
