Ferdinand Christoph Heim

Ferdinand Christoph Heim (pseudonym Chischodaer Franzl , born April 27, 1932 in Chișoda , Kingdom of Romania ) is a German caricaturist , painter and dialect author .

Life

Ferdinand Christoph Heim attended elementary school in Timișoara from 1939 to 1940 . The family moved to Germany because his father fell ill. Here he attended elementary school in Georgensgmünd , Frauenaurach , Nuremberg and Ilsenburg and learned the profession of sign painter. In 1948 the family returned to Romania. From 1948 to 1971 he worked as a sign painter in Timișoara, at the same time (1957–1962) attended the courses of the Timișoara circle for fine arts and worked as a cartoonist for various newspapers. He had his first dialect publications in 1972 in the "Pipatsch", a supplement to the Neue Banater Zeitung .

The Romania German home next published poems , epigrams and short stories and cartoons in German newspapers and magazines in Romania. In 1990 he moved to the Federal Republic of Germany and has lived in Bad Waldsee ever since .
