Ferdinand Geisslinger

Ferdinand Geißlinger (born October 31, 1891 in Vienna ; † March 9, 1969 there ) was an Austrian Federal Railroad official and politician ( ÖVP ). Geißlinger was a member of the Austrian National Council from 1945 to 1953 .

Ferdinand Geißlinger attended elementary school and then switched to a grammar school. In 1908 he joined the Imperial and Royal Vienna State Railway Directorate and worked as a federal railway official. Geisslinger was a member of the board of the Christian labor movement and chairman-deputy of the Austrian railway workers' union. He also held the function of a board member of the Austrian Workers 'Association (ÖAAB) and was also chairman of the transport section of the Austrian Workers' and Salary Service. Geisslinger was sworn in as a member of the National Council on December 19, 1945 and represented the ÖVP in the National Council until March 18, 1953.
