Ferdinand Keller (moderator)

The trained percussionist Ferdinand Keller (* 1936 ; † June 2002 ) was music editor and presenter for many years at the former Südwestfunk-Welle SWF3 in Baden-Baden , where he began his radio career in 1974. Keller was an SWF3 presenter from the very beginning and, even at the age of almost 60, impressed with his young and always authentically cheerful moderation in the context of a pop radio format.

Keller became famous for the daily music show SWF3 Musikbox . In 1997 he switched to SWF1 and hosted the Saturday basement party there for two years . In 1999 he took early retirement.

Ferdinand Keller died at the beginning of June 2002 at the age of 66 after a long and serious illness.
