Fernand Ledoux (born January 21, 1897 in Tirlemont , † September 21, 1993 in Paris ) was a Belgian-born French actor.

Life

Fernand Ledoux went to France after a short military service in 1914 and trained as an actor. The first role in the film came about in 1918 through his war comrade, the director Jacques Feyder . By 1984 Ledoux worked on a total of almost 90 film and television productions. His best-known role was probably that of the station master who kills his wife's rapist in Jean Renoir's classic film Bestie Mensch (1938). Ledoux also performed on stage for many years, mostly in the character field.
