Fernanda Trías

Fernanda Trías (born October 12, 1976 in Montevideo , Uruguay) is a Uruguayan writer .

Life

The English teacher and sworn translator Trías published her first novel La azotea in 2001 , for which she received the third prize in the storytelling competition organized by the Uruguayan Ministry of Education and Culture the following year. Also in 2002, then appeared with Cuaderno para un solo ojo at Cauce Editorial her second novel. Tría's texts were also found in El cuento uruguayo II , published in 2003, and in El descontento y la promesa, respectively, published in 2008 . Nueva / joven narrativa uruguaya and Esto no es una antología , as well as 2009 in Asamblea portátil. Muestrario de narradores iberoamericanos and 2010 in News from Electricity Use. After receiving the Unesco Aschberg scholarship in 2005 , she moved to France , where she still lives today.
