Fernando Álvaro Picún de León (born February 14, 1972 in Montevideo ) is a former Uruguayan football player .
Career
society
Picun began his career at River Plate Montevideo , where he played from 1993 to 1996. He then played for Feyenoord Rotterdam , Defensor Sporting , Urawa Red Diamonds and Danubio FC . In 2001 he ended his playing career.
National team
In 1996, Picun made his debut for the Uruguayan national soccer team . He was named to the 1999 Copa America squad. He has played a total of nine international matches for Uruguay.
