The Leintal nature reserve between Leinecksee and Leinhäusle is located in the area of ​​the municipalities of Alfdorf ( Rems-Murr-Kreis ) and Durlangen and Spraitbach ( Ostalbkreis ) in Baden-Württemberg .

The area extends along the Lein north of Alfdorf between Pfahlbronn in the west and Durlangen in the east. The state road L 1153 runs through the area, the L 1155 runs south and the B 298 runs on the eastern edge .
