The Strümpfelbachtal nature reserve lies in the area of the communities of Althütte , Kaisersbach and Rudersberg in the Rems-Murr district in Baden-Württemberg .
The area extends southeast of the core town of Althütte along the Strümpfelbach , a right tributary of the Wieslauf . The state road L 1119 runs to the west and the L 1120 to the north.

For Althütte, Kaisersbach and Rudersberg, a 42.6 hectare area has been designated as a nature reserve since April 1, 1981 under the identification number 1.089. These are gorges with natural geological outcrops and rock formations as near-natural habitats for the plant and animal communities indigenous to the Keuperklingen and its waters .
