Fernando Torres Martín

Fernando Torres Martín (born December 25, 1978 in Llerena ) is a Spanish road cyclist .

Fernando Torres won a stage at the Vuelta a Ávila in 2002 and at the Volta a Galicia he won two daily sections and the overall standings. The next year he was overall first in the Tour des Pyrénées and he won the second stage of the Vuelta al Goierri. In 2004 he became a professional with the Spanish cycling team Cafés Baqué and a year later he switched to Spiuk-Semar . In his second year there he was successful in a section of the Troféu Joaquim Agostinho and in 2007 he won the first stage of the Volta a Tras os Montes e Alto Douro.
