Tour des Pyrénées

The Tour des Pyrénées (also Vuelta a los Pirineos ) was a former cycling race in south-west France and north-east Spain . The short tour led in four stages through the French and Spanish Pyrenees . This also from the be Tour de France known mountain passes like Col d'Aspin and Col du Soulor busy. The tour was held for the first time in 1978. Until 1994, however, the race was called the Tour de Bigorre . From 2007 it was part of the UCI Europe Tour and had the category 2.2 . The last event was in 2010.
