The Festival Internacional de Cine de Guayaquil is an international annual one-week film festival in the city of Guayaquil , Ecuador . It was founded in 2015.

The “Iguana Dorada” award is given to the best national and international feature-length and short films, as well as documentaries. Films from an invited host country are particularly highlighted. At the third edition in 2017, 119 films from 40 countries were shown, in addition to Guayaquil also in Machala and Portoviejo . According to the organizers, the screenings were attended by more than 10,000 spectators.
