Fire and Blood is a novel by Ernst Jünger from 1925 .

In this novel, designed as a war diary , Jünger describes his experiences in the first days of the German spring offensive in 1918 during the First World War . The book is one of the works in which Jünger processes his experiences during the First World War. The work of this kind that has received the most attention - also from contemporary reception - is the novel In Stahlgewittern , published as early as 1920 .
