In Germany, information forms are called fire brigade route cards, which show the fire brigade the way from the fire alarm center to the triggered fire alarm in mostly public buildings or larger companies .

They are mainly produced by the specialist companies according to DIN 14675 and / or according to the specifications of the local fire brigade. The plans are in DIN A5, DIN A4 or DIN A3. This may have been determined differently from district to district. The definition is usually made in the valid technical connection conditions for fire alarm systems of the respective district or the professional fire brigade . They can be found in a storage box near the fire alarm center (BMZ) or the fire brigade contact point (FAP).

The presence of the cards is one of the prerequisites for connecting the fire alarm system to the responsible fire brigade. The fire alarms of a BMZ reporting group, the fire brigade key depot (FSD), the building access and the location of the fire alarm control panel, the transmission device (UE), the fire brigade control panel (FBF), the fire brigade display panel (FAT) and all the facilities relevant to the fire brigade are shown on the cards drawn. In addition, further information is noted on the route card, such as B. the type of detector. A fire brigade ticket is required for each BMZ detector group .

Ticket cards are printed on both sides; The route from the BMZ to the corresponding stairwell is marked on the front on a floor plan, the route from the stairwell to the detector group on the target floor is marked on the back. All detectors in a detector zone are listed on a single route card.

A tactical principle when using route cards states that the preceding emergency services should always follow the route on the route card, even if employees of the object in question know a supposedly better route.
