Fire Brigade Museum (Bamberg)

The Bamberg Fire Brigade Museum is operated by a non-profit association and exhibits historical fire fighting technology including decommissioned vehicles. In addition to motor vehicles from the Magirus-Deutz brand , the exhibits include ladders from the Nuremberg company JA Stahl and extinguishing equipment from Bamberg production.

The museum , which opened in 1984, not only serves as a sight for the city of Bamberg , but also as an information center for the technology of the Bamberg aid organizations . The museum is located on Siechenstrasse in Bamberg (prince-bishop's hunting arsenal). Operation tactics, materials, fittings, protective clothing and vehicles from different eras are shown on several levels.
