Fiangonana Loterana Malagasy (FLM; German: Madagascan Lutheran Church ) is a Lutheran church .

In 1866 the Norwegian Church's Missionary Society began missionary work in southern Madagascar. From 1888, the American Mission Society also proselytized in the south-west of the country . In 1950 the Lutheran Church of Madagascar became independent. It currently has around 3 million members. Bishop of the FLM is currently Rev. Dr. David Rakotonirina.

The Lutheran Church of Madagascar is a member of the Lutheran World Federation , the All Africa Conference of Churches and the World Council of Churches .
