Fiat 500
Fiat 500 , in Italian Fiat Cinquecento , are the names of several generations of small cars from the manufacturer Fiat that are not based on one another. The first generation was introduced in 1957 under the name Fiat Nuova 500. After production ceased in 1975, Fiat launched a new version in 2007. The Fiat 500 La Prima with electric drive followed in 2020 . The first generation has a front engine and rear-wheel drive , the second a rear engine with air cooling , the younger generations again have water cooling and front-wheel drive . The older generations were the smallest and simplest models in the product range and were replaced by the Fiat 126 . The Cinquecento of the 1990s was a small, elegant alternative to the Fiat Panda , which was replaced by the Fiat Seicento, which was followed by the next Fiat 500, but which is "one size larger" and cites the shape of the 1950s model.
