The Roman Catholic branch church Innerschwand am Mondsee is located in Loibichl in the municipality of Innerschwand am Mondsee in the Vöcklabruck district in Upper Austria . The branch church of the Mondsee basilica , consecrated to St. Joseph of Nazareth , belongs to the Frankenmarkt dean's office in the diocese of Linz . The church is a listed building .

history

The church was built by returnees from both World Wars after the Second World War as thanks for their happy homecoming and was consecrated on August 24, 1948. In 2010/2011 the interior was restored and the exterior redesigned with the artist Inge Dick .

Furnishing

The painter Sepp Mayrhuber painted the altar fresco with God's providence, the birth, the seven angels with the scourge tools and the annunciation angels and in the ceiling fresco the symbols of the four evangelists and the saints Florian, Leonhard, Wolfgang and Notburga. The painter Inge Dick created new church windows (2010).

The sculptor Haslinger from Linz created the tabernacle, the figure Sorrowful Mother, and a head of Christ.
