Filip Adwent

Filip Stanisław Adwent (born August 31, 1955 in Strasbourg , † June 26, 2005 in Warsaw ) was a Polish politician.

Adwent was born to Polish emigrants and lived in France until 1996 . A doctor by profession, he organized aid deliveries to Poland during the time of martial law , for which he received an award from the Polish government in 1995.

Since 2004 he was a member of the European Parliament for the right-wing League Polskich Rodzin , but without being a member of this party.

Adwent died on June 26, 2005 at the age of 49 from his injuries sustained in a car accident on June 18, 2005. His 19-year-old daughter, father and mother also died in the car accident.
