Filomena Mascarenhas Tipote

Filomena Mendes Mascarenhas Tipote (born March 1, 1969 ) is a politician from Guinea-Bissau .

Life

Filomena Mascarenhas Tipote was appointed State Secretary in his government by Prime Minister Caetano N'Tchama in 2000 . After he resigned on March 19, 2001, she was appointed Minister for Social Solidarity, Employment and Poverty Control in his cabinet by his successor, Faustino Imbali, on March 21, 2001, to which she was a member until the end of Imbali's tenure on December 9, 2001 . As successor to Malam Mané , she was Foreign Minister in the government of Prime Minister Alamara Nhassé between December 9, 2001 and November 17, 2002 . She then served as Minister of Public Administration, Public Works, Labor and Employment in the cabinet of Prime Minister Mário Pires from November 17, 2002 to September 14, 2003 .

Tipote was last Minister of Defense in the government of Prime Minister Artur Sanhá between September 28, 2003 and May 10, 2004 .
