Finance court of the state of Brandenburg
The Finance Court of the State of Brandenburg is a historical court of financial jurisdiction in the state of Brandenburg .
On January 1, 2007, the court was merged with the Berlin Finance Court to form a joint Berlin-Brandenburg finance court with headquarters in Cottbus, which is responsible for the federal states of Berlin and Brandenburg .
The Finance Court of the State of Brandenburg was a national leader in the field of electronic legal transactions.

The Finance Court (FG) had its seat in Cottbus ; the district corresponded to the area of the entire state.

Since the financial jurisdiction is structured in two stages, the financial court of the state of Brandenburg was a higher regional court according to § 2 FGO , but nevertheless acted as the entrance court in the first instance. The Federal Fiscal Court in Munich was subordinate to it .
