The Firley Cove ( English for Polish Zatoka Firleya , also known as Firlej Cove ) is a bay on the south coast of King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . As a side bay of the Ezcurra Fjord in Admiralty Bay , it lies between the Zalewski Glacier and the Rościszewski Icefall .
Polish scientists named it in 1980 after Roman Firley, who was responsible for sea transport operations on the two Polish Antarctic expeditions between 1976 and 1978.
