The Ezcurra Fjord ( French Fiord Ezcurra ; English Ezcurra Inlet ) is a bay on the south coast of King George Island in the South Shetland Islands . It forms the western branch of Admiralty Bay .
It was mapped in December 1909 during the Fifth French Antarctic Expedition (1908–1910) under the direction of polar explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot . This named it after the Argentine politician Pedro de Ezcurra (1859-1911), Minister of Agriculture of his country in 1908, who helped the French research trip.
