Point Thomas is a headland up to 173 m high on the south coast of King George Island in the South Shetland Islands . It marks the south side of the entrance to the Ezcurra Fjord in Admiralty Bay and is the location of the Polish Arctowski station .
The headland was mapped in December 1909 during the Fifth French Antarctic Expedition (1908-1910) under the direction of polar explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot . He named it after a crew member of his research vessel Pourquoi Pas? .
