First Strike is an American documentary film from 1979. The film directed by Fleming E. Fuller and produced by the United States Air Force is about the possible consequences of a nuclear attack on the United States.

First Strike is divided into two segments. The first part of the film shows how a (fictional) surprise nuclear attack by the Soviet Union on the USA destroys most of the American nuclear arsenal. To prevent further losses, the US government decides to surrender.
In the second part, several experts from the US military and the US government discuss how to protect the US from nuclear attacks.
