Fiskars ( Finnish Fiskari ) is a village in the municipality of Raseborg (Raasepori) in southern Finland . The place is known for the Fiskars company . In 2011 Fiskars had 454 residents.

The village of Fiskars emerged from an ironworks founded in 1649 by the Dutchman Peter Thorwöste . In recent history, the place has increasingly become a magnet for artists and designers.

Until 2009 Fiskars belonged to the municipality of Pojo (Pohja). Pojo was merged with the cities of Ekenäs and Karis to form the city of Raseborg in 2009 .
