Pohja
Pohja [ ˈpɔhjɑ ], Swedish Pojo , is a former municipality in southern Finland . At the beginning of 2009, it merged with Ekenäs and Karis to form the city of Raseborg .

In the 17th century the ironworks Antskog (1630), Billnäs (1641) and Fiskars (1649), the so-called “ Solingen Finland”, were built here. The Fiskars group of the same name still exists and today manufactures scissors, axes and knives. To this day, the company is Pohja's largest employer.
Pohja is on the Königsstrasse , the old route of the Swedish kings from Turku to Vyborg . Today the Königsstrasse is a tourist route. The main sights of Pohja are the historic ironworks and the stone church built around 1480.
