Pohjola (also Pohja ) is a place in Finnish mythology and is translated as Nordland . Pohjola is one of the main places in the Finnish national epic Kalevala and is supposed to represent the land of the Sami or Lapland . However, some say that Pohjola is a fictitious place that is the source of evil .
