Fittja is an above-ground station on the Stockholm Metro . It is located in the Fittja district of the same name in the Botkyrka municipality . The station is served by the Röda linjen of the Stockholm metro system . It is one of the less frequented stations on the underground network. On a normal working day, 6,000 commuters get on and off here.

The station was put into operation on October 1, 1972, when the section of Röda linjen between Skärholmen and Vårberg was inaugurated. Until January 12, 1975, it was also the terminus of the T13 line, from then on the trains drove over the newly built section to their current terminus in Norsborg . The platforms are above ground. The station is located between the Masmo and Alby stations . It is around 15 km to Stockholm Central Station .
