The Flörsheimer Herrnberg is a Rheingau vineyard in the area of ​​the city of Flörsheim am Main and belongs to the large Daubhaus site in the Rheingau wine-growing region .

Name origin

The location takes its name from the canons of the Mainz cathedral chapter , which acquired ownership rights to the Flörsheim area in 1270.

Vineyard

In the Herrnberg, the vines grow on deep, partly gravelly loess , which ensures good water flow. The wines made from the grapes grown here are light and have a balanced acidity and restrained flavor.
