The flag of Kabardino-Balkaria is the official flag of the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria within Russia . The flag was officially adopted by law of July 21, 1994 .

The aspect ratio of the flag, which consists of three horizontal stripes, is 2: 3. Both the stripes and the emblem adjoining the upper and lower stripes are blue (sky), white (snow) and green. The emblem shows Elbrus , the highest peak in the Caucasus.
