Flags of the technical emergency aid (1933–1945)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The flags of the technical emergency aid (1933–1945) were the flags, stander and pennants of the technical emergency aid (TN) used in the time of National Socialism .

Flags, flags

From 1933 flags were introduced for the local groups of technical emergency aid, which showed a red square on a white background. On top of this was a black swastika standing on the tip , as well as the symbol of the technical emergency aid, consisting of a gear wheel and the TN initials. The square flag had a side length of 150 cm and was attached to the 3-meter-long flagpole with seven metal rings, the top of which bore a representation of the TN symbol. In the upper left corner of the flag was the name of the TN local group in black, Gothic letters.

The back of the flag was identical, but it showed a mirror image of the front. Instead of the local group name, in the upper right corner on a piece of white fabric, the number of the TN national group was in Roman numerals, as well as - separated by a 45 degree slash - the number of the unit in Arabic numerals.

General flags were designed like the flags, but they lacked the designations.

2 = flag of a TN local group (right side)

Vehicle stand, pennant

On November 12, 1937, vehicle flags were introduced that showed the national emblem of the TN on a dark blue background. Depending on the service position of the Stander were on the edge Weft in different widths or dyes attached. Except for the motorcycle and bicycle pennant , which showed a printed national emblem, all stands were made of woven material. National emblems or braids consisted of either gold or aluminum-colored fabric. The exceptions were the general TN pennant and the TN motorcycle and bicycle pennant , whose national emblem was white. The front and back of the stands were identical, except for the eagle's head, which was pointed towards the flagpole. Stands 1 to 7 were carried on a pennant pole with the national emblem of the TN at the top.
