The Flagstone Pond ( English for Tile Pool ) is a pool on Bird Island in the archipelago of South Georgia in the South Atlantic . It is located northeast of Stejneger Peak .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it descriptively in 2012 because it resembles a tile or paving slab in shape.
