The Flakorps z. b. V. was a major combat unit of the German Air Force in World War II .

On April 2, 1945, the Flak Corps was set up from the command staff of the dissolved Luftgaukommando VI . b. V. (for special use) initially for the planned period of three months. The commanding general of the corps on that day was General of the anti-aircraft cartillery August Schmidt . This command was to take over the command of all anti-aircraft forces still in combat in the northwest area.
