Flavia Mastrella

Flavia Mastrella (* 1960 in Anzio ) is an Italian short film director and artist.

Life

Mastrella took an early interest in painting and sculpture. From 1977 she created many metal sculptures that she could show in galleries. 1987 began a collaboration with the director and actor Antonio Rezza , which continues to this day ; initially with his theater work, from 1991 on numerous short film projects. In 1997 the two made the movie EsCoriandoli . The crime film Delitto sul Po followed in 2001 . Again and again, Mastrella remained true to her artistic origin and created other works of art, sculptures and photographs. With Rezza she was involved in numerous performances, some of which were awarded.
