Dubník (until 1948 Slovak "cuz", Hungarian Csúz ) is a municipality in the west of Slovakia with a population of 1,606 (December 31, 2019) that the Nové Zámky District , a circle of Nitriansky kraj belongs.
geography
The municipality is located in the Danube Hills (part of the Slovak Danube lowlands ) on the Paríž brook . The center of the village lies at an altitude of 146 m nm and is 22 kilometers from Nové Zámky .
Administratively, Dubník is divided into the municipality parts Dubník and Dvor Mikuláš (Hungarian Szentmiklóspuszta ).
history
Dubník was first mentioned in writing as Chus in 1236 .
Until 1919, the place in Komorn County belonged to the Kingdom of Hungary and then came to Czechoslovakia . Due to the First Vienna Arbitration Award , he was again in Hungary from 1938 to 1945.
