Flavius ​​Betto

Flavius ​​Betto (his prenomen is not known) was a member of the Roman army living in the 2nd century AD .

A dedicatory inscription found at Rough Castle , which is dated 138/161, shows that Betto Centurio was the Legio XX Valeria Victrix . The inscription also shows that he was temporarily in command ( cuius curam ) of the Cohors VI Nerviorum . Both units were stationed in the province of Britannia at that time .
