Butchers' liability insurance association
The butcher's trade association ( FBG ) with its headquarters in Mainz was an industry-specific trade association for the butcher's trade and the meat industry.
FBG was founded in 1896 . In addition to the main administration in Mainz, the employers' liability insurance association had a training facility in Reinhardsbrunn ( Friedrichroda / Thuringia ). Around 25 technical supervisors were deployed in prevention throughout Germany .
As a small trade association, the FBG was threatened by a forced merger. In 2007, an attempt was made to fend off this through signature campaigns with 41,000 signatures. Nevertheless, on January 1, 2011, it merged with the professional association for food and restaurants to form the professional association for food and hospitality .
