Flemming Hansen (born August 9, 1939 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish politician of the Conservative People's Party .
Life
Hansen was a member of the Danish Parliament from 1984 to 2007 . From 2001 to 2005 he was Minister of Transport in the cabinet of Anders Fogh Rasmussen , and from 2005 he was also Minister of Energy. In the course of a cabinet reshuffle in 2007 he resigned for reasons of age. Carina Christensen took over as Minister of Transport .
