Fly reel

Fly Reels are specifically designed for fly fishing suitable fishing reels . You need e.g. B. no complicated braking system and generally no translation for hauling in the fishing line . The main task of the fly reel is the magazine function, i. H. keep the fly line tidy and accessible. Fly reels must be as light as possible. You are therefore z. B. made of plastic, magnesium or aluminum and often weigh less than 100 grams. The fly reel is at right angles to the rod axis and rotates when the line is cast. With the help of a small handle on the reel side, the line can be pulled in with direct translation.
