The Flora Temple (also Pavilion of Flora ) is a small, listed garden pavilion , which is located east of the Harmonie at the tax office in Kempten (Allgäu) .

In 1981 the pavilion was moved from a garden at the Stadtpark in Luitpoldstrasse to its current location. The Luitpold road was 1981im southern part to on Königsplatz Square , in the northern part to Am Stadtpark renamed. The small structure is surrounded by a broken sandstone parapet that was part of the old complex. The pavilion is covered with a mansard roof . The polygonal building was erected in 1762 on behalf of Prince Abbot Honorius Roth von Schreckenstein . Inside the pavilion there is rococo stucco from the time it was built; the ceiling vault is structured by flat arched niches and mirror vaults. The corner cartouches show images of the four seasons. The ceiling fresco presents an ancient heaven of gods in lavish decor with the goddess Flora in the center. All of the paintings in the pavilion are probably by the Allgäu artist Linus Seif . The restoration of the paintings and the stucco was in the hands of the Allgäu church painter and restorer Gebhard Eyerschmalz . The pavilion is only open to visitors during the Allgäu Festival Week; it is located within the festival area.
