Florae Berolinensis prodromus

Florae Berolinensis prodromus (about "harbinger of a flora of Berlin") is a work of the German botanist Carl Ludwig Willdenow . It was published in 1787 by Vieweg Verlag in Berlin .

It is a flora directory written in Latin , in which all species of mushrooms , lichens , mosses and higher plants known in the Berlin area up to now are listed. It is the first publication of the complete flora of Berlin. The book contains information on a total of 1234 plants, including 864 species of higher and 370 species of lower plants.
