Chakib Benmoussa ( Arabic شكيب بنموسى, DMG Šakīb Binmūsā ; * 1958 in Fès , Morocco ) was the interior minister of Morocco.

biography

Chakib Benmoussa holds an engineering degree from the École polytechnique of Paris (1979) and the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées of Paris (1981) and a DESS from ISCAE and a Master of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Chakib Benmoussa is married and has two children.

Functions assumed

Chakib Benmoussa assumed various functions.

From 1981 to 1983 he was a research associate at the Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (MIT).

Chakib Benmoussa has been a member of the Executive Committee of Groupe ONA since 2000 . Finally, on December 11, 2002, he was appointed Wali , Secretary General of the Ministry of the Interior. Then, through a government reshuffle, he succeeded Mostapha Sahel's interior minister.
