The Florence Nightingale Hospital is a hospital of the Kaiserswerther Diakonie in Kaiserswerth in the north of Düsseldorf . It opened in 1975.

history

Predecessors were a makeshift hospital on Kaiserswerther Markt that was built in 1836 and the Fronberg Hospital built in 1885. There were also military hospitals.

The present clinic was opened in 1975. The name of the hospital is reminiscent of Florence Nightingale , a founder of modern western nursing, who lived and worked in Kaiserswerth in the mid-19th century.

Facility

The house has twelve specialist clinics as well as several certified centers for treating patients, especially in the field of family and tumor medicine.
