history
The municipal indoor swimming pool was opened on October 6, 1967 with the Federal President Franz Jonas as the first new indoor swimming pool after the Second World War . Jonas had previously laid the foundation stone for the indoor pool as mayor. The indoor pool was planned by the architect Friedrich Florian Grünberger , with Grünberger subsequently planning another seven district indoor pools .
