from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Florina Gillnik (* 14. April 1958 in Koenigswinter as Florentine Elisabeth Schuchert ), nicknamed "De Jummipupp of the Ring" is a German guard dancer .

Florina Gillnik was born in Königswinter, where she still lives today. Her father Lorenz August Schuchert was one of the wealthiest men in this city and encouraged her to dance. In 1972 she founded the Rheingarde von den 7 Bergen , which is now the honor dance corps of the Willi Ostermann Society in Cologne.

She is still a trainer and choreographer today and tries to achieve the old conditions with her groups (the Tornados, the Young Guard and the show dance group Delicous) and several solo marches (Davina Gillnik, Leonie Schmidt-Küster and Sabrina Weißenberger). Even today she still actively dances with friends.

Championship 1982 and 1983

At the German championship in guard dance according to DVG guidelines, she was runner-up in the solo category in 1982 and 1983. Birgitt Pfeiffer, who was worse than Florina in all ranking tournaments, won both times. There were large protests in the hall when it became known that Pfeiffer had become German champion. In both years she won the title by just 0.25 points. As it turned out, Pfeiffer's father was a member of the jury. Although Florina has not officially achieved the title, she is still seen as the actual German champion of both years.

Florina's cup collection is large. Over 250 cups and certificates adorn their house. Her greatest successes were:
